Dr Colin McTari

Dr Colin McTari is a General Practitioner with over 20 years of medical experience and a special interest in skin cancer medicine, skin conditions, aesthetic medicine and reconstructive procedures.

After more than seven years of training in major Queensland Health hospitals in Brisbane, including Princess Alexandra Hospital, Mater Health Services and Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Dr McTari moved into private practice.

He holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Fellowship of Dermatology from the Australian Institute of Dermatology, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He is also a Fellow of IFAAS (International Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Science) and the Australian Skin Cancer Institute, and is a Board Member of ACAM.

Dr McTari has completed professional diplomas in General Dermatology, Dermoscopy, Complex Skin Cancer Surgery, Skin Cancer Medicine and Medical Aesthetics through Bond University and The University of Queensland. He has also undertaken advanced training in medical, vascular and skin cancer laser treatments and cosmetic laser procedures.

Patients may consult Dr McTari for a range of skin-related concerns, including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, excessive sweating, and skin cancer assessment and management.
