Dr Soriano was born in the Philippines and gained his medical qualifications in 2003. He moved to Australia in 2006 and attained his Royal Australian College of General Practitioners fellowship in 2015.

He was a primary care doctor in Goondiwindi for 10 years before moving to Brisbane. Dr Soriano has completed advanced training in skin cancer medicine and surgery. He has a particular interest in surgical and non-surgical interventions for skin conditions.
