Biography

Dr Chippada is a Specialist General Practitioner with a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine, injury management and rehabilitation. He has extensive experience managing complex medical presentations across general practice, emergency medicine and high-performance occupational environments, including senior clinical leadership supporting healthcare for the Australian Defence Force.

Dr Chippada believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected and supported. His approach emphasises early intervention, evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration to help patients recover from injury, restore function and achieve a safe and sustainable return to work, sport and everyday life.

Outside of medicine, Dr Chippada enjoys spending time in nature, keeping active, and discovering great food and coffee.

  • Musculoskeletal and sports medicine — assessment and management of back, neck, shoulder and knee pain, sports injuries and soft-tissue injuries
  • Injury management and rehabilitation — helping patients recover function and return safely to work, sport and everyday activities
  • Occupational health and WorkCover — work-related injury management, WorkCover certificates and fitness-for-work assessments
  • DVA and veterans’ health — general medical care, treating doctor reports and medical evidence for veterans
  • Skin cancer medicine — skin cancer checks, mole checks and minor skin surgery excluding the head and face
  • Minor procedures — including venesection and other appropriate minor office-based procedures
  • Weight management — comprehensive assessment and evidence-based management of overweight and obesity

Initial long consultation required for:

  • A new workplace, sporting, motor vehicle or other physical injury requiring assessment
  • A new patient transferring from another practice with an extensive medical history
  • Mental health concerns, psychological distress or significant life events
  • Multiple chronic medical conditions requiring review
  • A new or undifferentiated health problem with a long or complicated history
  • Multiple health concerns that you would like addressed during the same consultation
