At One Health Clinics, Cairns, we’ve reimagined the health care experience.
Our clinic is a sanctuary of support built on holistic healing, nurturing care, and patient-centred values.
We combine evidence-based general practice with alternative therapy, to provide comprehensive and personalised care. Through collaboration, clinical expertise, and a mindful approach to wellbeing, we’re helping shape a healthier future for our community as your trusted alternative therapies clinic.
Medicare provides a partial rebate for in-clinic appointments, not telehealth (unless it is a follow-up and your first appointment was in-clinic). A rebate is available for eligible patients who have been seen face-to-face in clinic within the last 12 months.
Please be advised that all our fees are guided by current Medicare guidelines and are billed in accordance with the professional attendance criteria, including time-based consultation fees. For more information, please refer to the official MBS website.
We are located at Shop 17, 159-161 Pease Street, Manoora QLD 4870 within the Piccones Shopping Village.
There is free on-site parking within the shopping village precinct.
What makes One Health cairns do different to other plant-based medicine companies?
One Health offers a modern, human-led, and patient-centred healthcare experience. Our Cairns clinic currently specialises in face-to-face alternative therapy services, with general medical consultations available via telehealth through our wider practice network.
What types of Alternative Natural Therapy consultations do you offer?
We offer alternative natural therapy consultations in line with Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulations either in person or over the phone. Our experienced Prescribers assess whether alternative natural therapy may be an appropriate treatment option for your individual health needs. Each consultation includes a comprehensive medical assessment, education about alternative natural therapy products and suitability, and ongoing follow-up care to ensure your treatment is safe, effective, and closely monitored.
What languages are spoken at the clinic?
Some of our Prescribers speak languages other than English, including fluent French, Haitian Creole, and Portuguese.
Is the practice wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Our clinic is fully accessible, with step-free entry, accessible parking, and wheelchair-friendly toilet facilities.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask that you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient in need and helps keep waiting times short.
What should I do if I’m running late or miss my appointment?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you’re running late. We’ll always do our best to accommodate you, though your appointment may need to be rescheduled depending on availability.
Can I speak to a Prescriber over the phone or by video call?
Yes. We offer both telephone and video consultations for your convenience. Please let our reception team know your preference when booking. Please note there are different fees for our telehealth services.
Do I have to see the same Prescriber every time?
You are always welcome to book with your preferred prescriber, but if they are unavailable, our team securely shares your medical records within the clinic to ensure continuity and consistency of care.
How do I make a complaint or provide feedback?
We welcome all feedback as it helps us improve our service. You can provide feedback or make a complaint in writing, by email, or over the phone. All concerns are handled confidentially and addressed promptly by our management team.
Important updates.
For patients residing within the Cairns, Mossman, Innisfail, Mareeba, and Tablelands regions, we now require an in-clinic appointment at least once every six months. Telehealth appointments will still be available between these in-person visits for your convenience.
Please also note that any requests to increase your monthly gram limit must now be completed during an in-clinic appointment.
Regarding early release requests, patients who live within the above-mentioned areas will need to attend the clinic in person. A consultation fee of $50 will apply. For patients living remotely or out of state, early release requests can continue to be facilitated via telehealth, with the same $50 consultation fee.
